About WG Stables
Founded in 2026, WG Stables has been a true labor of love from the outset. Kelly and her family transformed an existing six-stall, mid-century barn restoring it to its former beauty. The journey began with one horse: Hocus Pocus. Hocus Pocus, a thoroughbred adopted from a rescue, ignited Kelly's passion for working with rescue and troubled horses. Kelly teaches classical stock seat, incorporating elements of mountain trail while emphasizing the importance of listening to the horse and fostering a harmonious partnership. Located in a tranquil setting, we offer private lessons both in hand and in the saddle. Our commitment to rider and horsemanship development is at the heart of everything we do.

Private Riding Lessons
Horsemanship Development
WG Stables offers Western (stock seat) based lessons following the training philosophy of Monte Foreman and his Basic Handle. These lessons can include obstacles and riding outside of the arena to build greater trust and a true partnership with your horse.
We emphasize the importance of horsemanship alongside riding skills. Our lessons include groundwork and horse care to help riders develop a comprehensive understanding of their equine partners.
